The spec sheet shows that the PANASONIC SA-HE7 reciever will decode DTS, if I'm reading it correctly. He could use an optical cable and get both DD 5.1 and dts audio?
Of course, he won't be able to get any of the lossless audio formats. And don't some BD's have only a PCM audio track? He'd get only stereo audio from those discs.
