You don't need the voltage sense module for an RP-1 because you can just feed 3-30v to the Sense and Ground terminals for power sense.  You can use the video sync module with an RP-1, but you have to hack the mini plug off and your conditionals have to be reversed from what you would normally use (on is off, off is on)  There's a technical bulletin about this on RTI's site.

DirecTV has discretes for everything - no need to use power sensing anyway as thefish said.
