This may not get answered but here goes anyway. I have followed your directions to a t however I have a Dynex USB adapter. Is the Mac adapter mandatory for this to work. I have a Macbook Pro running VM Fusion with Vista installed. I have no problem trading this cable in but I just wanted clarification on this. I've been reading and studying for about a week now and am anxious to connect to my TSU 6000. At this point I'll try anything.
