I am having a similar issue with my new Magnavox Blue Ray remote. The first pass at learning all the codes resulted in total failure. Nothing worked.

I viewed the IR codes and they were very short...usually a good sign. I relearned all the codes, and this time they were much longer. Now, most of the controls work. I will look again to see how "dirty" they are. Check the FAQ's to learn about IR codes.

I will be relearning more of them as soon as the batteries recharge. If some still don't work, I will try learning the codes in the remote, not through prontoedit.

Oh yes, be sure your Pronto has fresh batteries.
