The RCA brand for TVs is also being licensed out to a chinese company. Its a different company than the Proscan.

I remember selling Proscan TVs years 1992-1996. The picture was great at the time and they had great profit margin. They were even ahead of their time with discrete IR codes and workarounds. The remotes had discrete power on and off and you were able to tune to 91, 92, etc. to get to the inputs discretely.
