Yep. They were made in the same facilities as RCA...the tubes all came from the same line. Back when they were actually made in the USA. There was virtually no difference between ProScan and RCA except for the branding.

Nowadays, I don't think RCA makes anything in the USA, and their TV's aren't supposed to be very well built.

Avparts said the branding is still owned by Thompson - however I haven't seen any respect for RCA products over the past decade or so. Even GE seems to be less popular than it was.
