I have a head-end location for source equipment, among them a Sony BDP-CX7000es Blu Ray changer. Source equipment is connected to an Intelix 4x4 HDMI matrix, with zone runs via dual twisted pair to receive baluns. The receive baluns have an IR port for their included IR bubble receiver.
In my home theater, I am using a Xantech 8-port IR emitter with the Xantech recevier - through inelegant, my only solution is to tape a Xantech emitter onto the Intelix receiver, which in turn connect to their balun. On the head end, the matrix switcher has an IR output jack, and I can connect an IR emitter from the jack to the front of the Sony.
(hope this is not too confusing)
Here's the rub - ALL my commands from the NevoSL are working fine back to the head end to all the source equipment (in addition to the Sony, their's an Escient Video Server and and Apple TV). Well, all except the discrete Power Off for the Sony - it simply won't turn off. If I bring the Nevo to the head end, the power off discrete DOES work.
The Xantech as the option for both low and high power emitter settings, and I've tried both with no change in condition.
I'm using the discrete code for the unit, and have also tried the BDP-S5000 and S2000es power off commands as well with no different
The power off command is part of Power OFf Macro, and I've tried it in all different spots in the sequence (currently it's first), doubled up, added delays before and after...
It is truly strange - any help here would be appreciated...
