Junk4u says
"When you apply for your government converter box coupons take note of all the
eligible converter boxes.Your kind goverment has screened them all for you.
The only ones that are eligible for the coupon are without a doubt some of the
worst ever pos tuners on the planet.Use the credit card coupons as handy wallet size
ice scrapers. The only tuner that even comes close to being usable is the Samsung
DTB-H260F.It runs about $160 and is not eligible for the worthless coupon.Don't
waste your time even bothering to get the coupons, another shaft from uncle sam."

......this is absolutely not true, I bought the Magnavox TB100MW9 DTV converter box, at 49.99 I paid only 9.99 for this set using the coupon.... I live between 30-35 miles away from the TV towers and the converter box works Wonderfully with a set of 15 dollar rabbit ears...

now back to remotes.... I have a radioshack universal hdtv remote #15-135... exactly How can I program the remote to work with my Magnavox TB100MW9 DTV converter box?

Try code 01563.

There's a new RCA remote on the market, the RCA RCRP05B, with boat load of DTV converter codes, including SAT 1563 for Magnavox.
