The hard buttons and touch screen work flawlessly. This is an excellent remote for finishing that custom home theater, as you can import your own custom file, photos, and buttons. On any page, you can put a photo of your house, theater, kids, or whatever you like! Programming is fairly simple, and it's fun once you get going! You can download files from places like here, or make your own. It has a learning feature, so you can learn virtually any IR command to any button. You can setup macros to turn your whole system on and off, switch inputs on your receiver or TV/projector, or even do a series of different tones to create a song when you start a macro. The push of a button, any button, can do all sorts of things, you just have to decide what. It's a cool remote that serves a purpose, to make life easy when operating your system! Included is the recharging base (no batteries to replace!), complete with rechargeable battery, power supply, and download cable.

Included is the RF extender, which is used for when you don't have line of sight with your equipment. A lot of times, the equipment will go into a cabinet, or around the corner, out of sight. With the RF extender, you will be able to control your equipment using radio frequencies from the remote to the RF extender, then it converts those signals to IR frequencies to control your equipment. You can choose what gets RF, and what gets IR, so you can still control your TV/projector which more than likely, will be in line of sight. Included is the extender, antenna, antenna cable, and power supply.
