There's really no difference in the amount of work either would take to configure. The PS3IR-500 is smaller, costs less, and will be easier to work with if you ever have a non-Harmony remote due to it using standard IR codes and having built-in variable tracking.
One upside to the Harmony one is that it includes a power adapter.
