Resurrecting this thread.

Isn't the code displayed above simply the play/pause code? The trouble with that is it's tricky to get the Apple TV to go into standby. You need to hold it down for a while, but too long and it doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone know of a truly discrete standby code?
