I'm willing to be that if you called C4 and say hey, I'm not a dealer but this client has a f'd up system will you come and fix it, you have a chance of getting the same response. A good rep would say, "I'll get you in touch with a dealer in your area."

I think when you are dealing with companies that deal with product that is ONLY sold to CI's, we ARE there customers, not really the end user, because the product they sell to the dealer isn't the same product (after programming and integration) that we sell to the end user.
