Well, at least it warns you that it's about to shut off and to press a key to stop it. :-)
Interestingly when it turns off this way it doesn't *really* turn off - the front display stays on, and you still get sound along with a grey screen with a moving "press any key to watch TV" message. Although it does stop timeshifting and shuts the hard drive off.
