Try the following;

Assuming all programming is correct and the Z-Wave network is set up correctly then try the following.

Disconnect the NC-50.
Take it to another location (as far away as possible from where is is now). Just the base and power no IR is needed.
Test the system. Do you still get triangles? do you get more than 10ft?
Do the antenna again, make sure you screw it in from the base (metal bit) and not the plastic antenna. This is 95% of all NC-50 issues.


If you get further range then there is an interference issue in its normal position. You could try a short antenna extension lead to move the antenna away from any interference.

If that does not solve the issue you may have a broken Antenna. Talk to your supplier as this should be a warranty issue.
