Today I bought a GE universal remote because I was tired of keeping up with multiple remotes. The problem is I made sure it would work for my TV before I bought it but I wasn't smart enough to check the DVD/VCR. I have tried the code search but the codes that it did pick up did not work properly. I was wondering if anyone could help me find the universal remote code for a Trutech DVD/VCR combo. Thanks in advance for any help.
If it's a three-code remote, hold the Shift/Setup button until the red LED light turns on, push the DVD/VCR button, push the following:
230, 456, [458, 227]
the ones in the [] are the modern models
458= DV220TT8 TruTech (Funai) VCR/DVD Combo
What is the VCR/DVD model? If DV220TT8, use the 458 code.
