My name is BoB. My first post here....I did not know there were so many kinds of remotes and codes and info....wow! What a great site. A couple weeks ago I bought a used denon pre-amp model pra-1500....made in early 90's. This apparently is a high-end preamp. It works great, lots of features I like. Of course it did not come with a remote. The original is not made anymore. I bought a sony universal remote, but the codes for denon did not work for that preamp. Is there a way to find out which universal remote will work for the pra-1500 preamp?? There must be some kind of list that can match up the IR codes of manufacturers and model numbers to the universal remotes that will operate those models??

Or....if someone can tell me what mode UR will definately work for my denon pra-1500 preamp??
