For those who don't recognize the distinction in the above threads:
Goof Off: Is meant for removing dried paint residue. Carries lots of warnings. It is quite agressive, and will remove many dried ink's and paints. I sometimes like it when I want to remove a logo from a product, applied via silkscreen to a metal bezel, etc.
Goo Gone: Is a citrus based product meant for removal of adhesive residues. It will leave an oily residue, but the residue is easily removed with most cleaners.
