Mine was a 600v 60amp dead short phase to phase....roughly 12"s from my face.
The resulting explosion left me blind for about 5mins...(seemed like hours). 8hrs later I woke up to the most incredible pain I've ever experienced. You the see (don't mind the play on words), the top layer of my eyeballs came off like dead skin after a sun burn. My eyes were sealed shut, completely dry, and my eye lids felt like sandpaper when I attempted to force them open to accept water.
I managed to stumble to my bathroom were I stayed for god knows how long with the shower running on my face. In an effort to free up my eye lids...
I had to hide out in my basement apartment for three days because indirect daylight (and the tv I might add) hurt too much.
Give me a bath tub full of jellyfish, and I'll take a good long soak...

....Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
