Well I have recently downloaded the latest firmware (tried to do it yesterday again but the server seems to be down)

Used the method that forces the recreation of the 5 partitions

loaded the default ICF

and no luck.

the only "solution" I found via the search was to wait for the internal system battery to die so you do an initial setup.

The solution I opted for was to purchase another IPronto that was missing most of its accessories and use that

I plan on looking inside the broken one just for fun
