@sydinstaller I already looked at the sample files, whilst they look very nice I found them to be functionally lacking in some areas. See below.
@motech This is exactly the approach taken by the designers of the examples. Whilst this (arguably) does work it is effectively a brute force method - switch everything on at once whether it's needed or not. The key feature of a Harmony is knowing what's on and what's not, and knowing when to switch power and not. Therefore, as well as power on/power off functions you need functions to switch to and from each activity, controlling power for the equipment used in each activity.
