This won't look good but it works. My tech told me the sensor was being blocked by new high contrast HDTV's. Stick a small post it note over the box sensor,which is just to the right of the channel display. You can now change channels. Mine will work without it after an hour or so,but have to put it on there in the morning when first turned on.
