The Philips component database is in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\...
You should not move or touch this file.

I specifically mentioned earlier that the path to the file and the filename should not contain spaces. So, if your file is in a folder underneath "My Documents", is there not a space in that path?

i.e. "D:\My Documents\Somefolder\mybackup.db"

Unfortunately, in my original post, the "My" and "Documents" fell on separate lines and it was not intuitive that there was a space in the path.

Please try the following:

Copy the file you backed up to C:\mybackup.db or D:\mybackup.db and try to restore.
