I was just wondering if anyone can help fix my problem, I have called the cable company and TV company and no one knows. I have an HD Motorola box DCH6200 and I just bought a Philips 42" LCD 42PFL3603D. Time Warner Cable is my provider and they send out a universal remote for the box which is Universal Electronics Atlas OCAP 5-device. The problem is the cable remote won't run the cable box unless the TV is either off or in the menu setting which I have to do with the TV remote itself. So I have to turn the TV off or in menu and check the cable box to see what channel I am going to and then turn the TV back on or off menu. The is my 3rd remote from the company and my 3rd box, to take out of the equation faulty equipment. I also tried re-programming the remote with the codes in the instructions. I am hoping someone out there knows what I can do!! Thanks!!
