This and the other twin thread are really the threads that never die.
It is really amazing how indignant people who buy goods that they think are stolen get when the items are misrepresented. It certainly serves them right.
28 years ago I was working in a industrial complex in Torrance, Calif when - guess what - a couple of guys in a white van who were trying to sell speakers came around. I was not interested so don't remember their exact story. I think maybe their truck was loaded with an extra pair or some such story. So this type of operation is not exactly new.
The part of these stories that I don't understand from so many of the bozos who think they have been swindled is so many of them are missing a remote that seems to be needed to operate the speakers.
What is that all about?
