Programming the Comcast DVR3 (with 5 digit codes) remote to control the RCA RTD315W

Here are the instructions to program the RCA RTD315W
1. Press AUX
2. Pess and hold Setup untill AUX blinks twice
3. Type in 31254
4. AUX should blink twice if it programmed correctly
5. Press AUX

Unlock all volume controls:
1. Press and hold Setup until the selected mode key blinks twice
2. Enter 993 and then press VOL+. The mode key blinks four times
3. Volume controls for all devices are independent.

To lock volume buttons so that they always control the AUX volume:
1. Press AUX
2. Press and hold Setup until AUX blinks twice
3. Type in 993
4. Press AUX (light should flash twice)

Assign DVR3 remote Power button to control AUX.
1.Press the AUX button.
2.Press and hold setup until AUX blinks twice
3.Press 994
4. Press setup
5. Press 64257
6. Press POWER
7. Press AUX button to finish the setup.
