I agree with Calston about the likely nature of the problem and, as Lyndel says, there are a number of previous threads on the issue.

However:

a. My experience is that if you disable the right HIDs, you can still use your wireless stuff. Each wireless device seems to create two HIDs. Disabling either will allow the downloads to happen. Whilst disabling one will also stop the wireless stuff working, disabling the other instead will allow the wireless stuff to continue.

b. According to Barry Gordon, the problem may well lie with Microsoft rather than with Philips.
