The Philips Pronto team didn't respond at all on my email regarding this problem within a month.
I reinstalled Vista and the problem is gone. But I don't like the idea PEP2 can get unrecoverable corrupted due external influences. I have decided to switch back to PEPv1.1
Another reason for downgrading is the "Prontodataservice" which can consume hundreds of megabytes after a few hours of use. Very bad design to start this as system service.
But I really liked the resizing of buttons and images . . .
My system gets real sluggish if I'm developing and debugging for long periods of time. I have to stop and restart the service. They should have it dynamically start only when the PEP software is running as it is a resource hog with a bad memory leak problem!!
