Yes, you need to change the Bose system to use IR. It is in one of the menus. The Lifestyle 28, 38, 48 and possibly the Bose 1-2-3 can all be changed to be controlled by IR.

Most of the Lutron systems will work with straight IR. Should all be in the database. The Radio RA is a special Lutron system which uses RF to control the switches. The Pronto cannot control it directly. You have to use a convuluted combination of the the RFX9600 via serial to a Lutron device which takes RS-232 and changes it to the RF the Radio RA needs.
