It´s not like windows, the version of Linux hasn´t anything to do with the kind of the fileysytem which will be used.
But doesn´t matter. I´ll figure it out the next days.

BTW:
If they are using Linux there have to be the source anywhere... because Linux is runing under the GPL. So there should be a fine way to install things w´re now missing.
