Via the editor go to "System Properties->Control Panel
Settings->Volume Settings->Button Volume" turning
said button volume to Off. This same setting can
be accessed via the Control Panel as well by holding down
the "Tools" icon for 4 seconds.
LP....as always, you come through with an answer. I looked at this and it didn't cross my mind. Figured turning that off would turn it all off. But I got the result I wanted. My sound plays just as expected.
