I am also a new user, had the remote for a few months now. Recently I have been off on vacation and well spending the time learning and programming the remote (before you ask the wifes working :-) ), anyway just wanted too give Dave a plug here.

I purchased his "The Ultimate Pronto Guide" and although it was developed for a previous remote its still applicable and well worth the cost. It provides some great ideas for structure and device page development (read Best Practices), as well it got me off the ground and running in my first attempt at a programable remote, I think this could be addicitve.
