If I purchase a tsu9600 with just an rfx9600, the tsu9600 will communicate wirelessly to my router, which will then communicate wired to the rfx9600, from which in turn, I can address the emitters to my equipment.

Can someone confirm that the emitters on the rfx9600 are wand-like? ie: I just place the emitter in front of the IR sensor on my equipment. Then in addition to the emitters, I can use wired RS232 to those devices that have RS232 capability?
