Important point to make here, this remote doesn't support WPA security it currently only supports WEP, which has been compromised and is no longer viable protection.

For this reason I have not connected it to my main home network but created a separate network for these items till support for WPA as a minimum is supported, otherwise I would be opening my entire network to the first hacker kid in the neighbourhood or driveby.
