Thanks to everyone that posted the pictures.

I am a custom integrator and the Phillips Pronto remote has been a staple in our surround sound systems since they were first introduced. We have sold hundreds of prontos since the TS1000 came out. The TSU7500 is in every family room (and some Theaters) we sell.

The question I have is who is Phillips talking to to get their research?? Did they not consult with an integrator that will sell most of these remotes for them?

The hard button icons terrible! They would be better off engraving words over the buttons.

NO GUIDE BUTTON?! The guide button is certainly more valuable than an reverse arrow (For back I suppose?). Do I have to get my P-touch out now?

With great sites like these promoting their use, you would think they (Philips) would have separate discrete on and off buttons instead of the crappy power icon button. I know that this is what the 9200 has.

What about the icon below the channel buttons. What is That? Please do not say backlight!

And now for the charger. Looks like they are reverting to original style "no click" charging base. Hopefully what we are seeing is a prototype that has been refined since as this is a poor design that failed quite often if the remote was not positioned just right after use.

I don't mean to Knock Philips too hard, as we will probably still sell the remote since all the time we have into our interface. But it would have been nice to have been a part of the design process since we sell so many. I have taken part in a beta test in the past for software but have yet to stumble on a hardware beta..
