When entering text, you should have a choice of 8 fonts.

ProntoMaestro
They all exist in the Windows font directory
Symbols only uses the ProntoMaestro font.
First, check that you can use the ProntoMaestro font in
Word.
Works
Try removing all eight Pronto fonts, then reinstalling
PEP V2.
Done, but still not working. However, after deleting the 8 fonts but before uninstalling PEP2, I tried to start it up PEP2 to see how it would react on all missing fonts. No complains, it still shows ProntoMaestro font available but no symbols.
But i suspect the problem is the all pronto fonts are fully ignored and PEP2 uses a generic font like Arial. That could also explain why I see no symbols.
I compared the font as typed in Word with the one's i type in PEP and it is not the same font. But the dropdownbox in PEP2 says ProntoMaestro.
Again, there are no other fonts available in PEP2, so I think they are all missing (or misconfigured) but PEP2 still shows the ProntoMaestro but uses another font.
I don't know exactly how he maestro font should look like in PEP2 but in Word the capital "I" is shown as a Serif font. What I type in PEP2 is no Serif font.
After uninstalling and reinstalling PEP2 this situation is still the same.

Yes, as how it works in Vista.
