I am in the process of upgrading from a JP1 remote to a MX-850. I have been able to get most of my devices converted using MakeHex and Hex2ccf. I am havening problems with XBMC (Xbox Media Center).
XBMC works with the standard buttons that come on the Xbox remote but you can also map custom buttons using RCA5. The irp file I am passing to MakeHex looks like:
Device=5 Function=0..255
Protocol=RCA Frequency=58000 Time Base=460 Zero=1,-2 One=1,-4 Prefix=8,-8 Suffix=1,-15 First Bit=MSB Form=;*,D:4,F:8,~D:4,~F:8,_
But XBMC isn't recognizing any of the hex this irp file creates. To get by for now I just learned my old remote to the new but it would be nice to be able to use MakeHex for this.
Does anyone have any experience using MakeHex to build hex that is compatible with XBMC?
