Flat rate. I explain to them what they are getting before they see it. I let them know I can add option A, B, C for extra $ and I tell them how much. That way they can't question it after the fact. Bring a demo remote with you that has all the bells and whistles and show them what they can get for 8 hours of work, then show them what they can get for 5.
