I think that is correct. If you go to Tools and Make MY IR DB, you can load the IR DB for the Sony KDS R60 XBR1. While it is not the exact model match, Sony's TV codes, especially for power "on" and power "off", have remained pretty consistent over the years. In the KDS R60 XBR1 database for IR, you will see toward the end "P-on" and "P-off". Those are the power on and power off discrete codes. 99% chance they will work for your model number. If not, try some of the other models by Sony.
