I just did my first MX-900 today with the manual in hand. It was for a friend who bought it before I could get him an RTI, and it will be all right (in particular, he's not using RF).

Since I made each source selection button a system ON macro, and I have a system OFF macro, I have no need for any commands on the ON and OFF buttons for each device. In fact, I'd like to take the command off the OFF button on the DVD device so nobody can accidentally turn it off.

How do you remove a command from a device's ON or OFF buttons? Probably pretty easy but I didn't see it and didn't stop to read all forty pages.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
