Wow, Thanks John. This sounds simple enough and as long as the capacitors are on the outside, it should not affect the warranty. You could solder the capacitors to the power supply leads an inch back from the screw terminals. Should we use tantalum capacitors only or would another type work? Have you sent this to Eric? If this works, you'll make a lot of people happy. Let us know in a week.
