I was getting the same message. Time is money so I just booted direct to XP and it worked fine. I think it has something to do with the USB driver needing to be updated in the virtual machine but haven't had time to look into it further.
If you don't get an answer here post this over at the CI lounge, there's a couple guys over there running the same setup.
