Well I don't even need an LCD screen. Just want something pretty basic.

[Link: remotecentral.com]My friend had one of the higher end logitech's with a color LCD screen. He usually left it in the charging cradle, but I think that kind of defeats the purpose so I asked him how long it would last without recharging.
the point is that when you don't need the remote (go to bed, go to work....) you can put it on the cradle to charge. So if it lasts several days then that is enough. What I found (with my Pronto) is that it eventually gets part of the habit and no more lost remotes.
