IN looking at it you get 4 IR ports (routable??? dont know) and only 1 232 port, so in order to expand the IR ports you will need a connecting block, have you loaded the software yet??

It might be limited on its memory. There will be the RTI T2-C soon, its a color remote retail will be around 799ish, add in the RP-6 and antenna for a nice package, Or look at MX3000 and a MSC-400 or a MX950 and a MSC400

There are other options for 232 as well...like a Xantech IR to 232 box but for a little more you could get a MSC400 from URC

Research the Xantech remote more before you buy oneI am loading the software now to see how it operates...Looked at thr manual and it looks like a decent entry level remote...Will know more when I load the SW
