Ok, that's the specific answer I was looking for. I know some people had been looking at the NevoSL and the WiFi capabilities as a way to surf the net. The screen size is pretty small for that (as anyone who has used a QVGA PDA can tell you) but an optimized version for the NevoSL's screen res takes care of that. Very good to hear.
By the way, another interesting device is coming down the pipe that could be used for the current full size version of Escient's browser control. The Nokia 770 is an "internet tablet" (no cell phone capabilities) with a 4.17" screen at a res of 800x480. Still requires vertical scrolling, but not bad for a handheld device of its size.
