I had some fairly good experiences with the Nevo
& Dlink DSM-320 after initial pain. The system
didn't appear to like static IP addresses, and
was a bit picky about the brands of routers. Oh,
and don't even think about running the dlink on
802.11b.
Having said that, I would not sell that combination
to a client yet, as it wasn't perfect, both units
often having to "think" for a few seconds.
PS- the Dlink user interface has some real niggly
issues, I sold mine and got an Imerge.
The 1.1 version supports more UPnP server/players and better! check it out.
Also, NevoSL will work with all 802.11b/g AccessPoints as long as it is 802.11b compliant. check out the whitepaper on mynevo.com which describes the parameters to set on your AccessPoint for best performance. Make sure you have just one subnet and one DHCP server enabled on the network.
