I have it working with 128bit WEP encryption.
I have (3) access points all together (including
the router) and I can roam pretty well with the
NevoSL. The only thing I noticed is that when
doing the wifi setup on the Nevo, I needed to
have the key/encryption type to Open, not shared
or anything else. When I did this, my strength
went from very low to very good/excellent. Working
pretty good so far.
You can used the shared mode in WEP, but you have to make sure Authentication mode on both sides(i.e. NevoSL and the AccessPoint) are identical(i.e. Open or Shared)
