Model based setup is an option which comes up when you add a device. It is the last listing in the table. You must have registered your software to use it. When you select model based setup, you can put very specific model #'s into a search which goes to the master UEI database online and gives you very crisp search results by model. WAY beter than any other method of adding a device to your config.

I can't remember using any other add-device method, such as internal database, etc. Except to learn in commands from another remote.
