First, With a Mac, I can't upgrade the firmware.Called 800-531-0039 and was told thats a fact. It downloads but can't be opened. So, OK thats just the way it is. A method to upgrade would be to go buy a cheapo PC but nah, I got enough with a Mac.
When I "learn" the 8 user programable buttons they all work ok for each remote I've that I enter into the RC9800, but the next day, when starting up again, the user button page is gone, so have to learn them all over again.
Probably is a firmware issue that is probably resolved in the latest firmware upgrade, but I'll never know using a Mac.
