I understand that the RC9800 is supposed to allow media streaming via wi-fi (not really necessary for music for a mac user, since the "airport express" does that for itunes, although you would need a computer in the living room to control this). However, with regard to the common intended use of sitting on the sofa and pushing one button to watch a DVD, with all of the correct devices switching on, off, selecting the correct inputs, etc: Does the RC9800 do this? Is it capable of what the Harmony 880 can do?
Or, is one just purchasing a promise of future wi-fi abilities?
I am a newbie with the remotes, so am looking for some perspective.
Thanks
