i JUST got my RC9800i today. i'll reserve my impressions for another thread at a later time. briefly, while many of the features are VERY impressive, i am only half pleased due to some rather odd limitations.
what i really want to mention here, per the topic title, is that i was able to get the streaming features to work with my D-link DSM-320 for both videos and audio. audio streaming is terrific. i don't have to worry about having my TV on to browse and select songs. however, there is a little quirk with the video streaming...there is no way to get rid of the D-Link's built-in user interface. if anyone had better luck, tricks, or advice on this, please do share.
one personal thought...besides philips' media adapter, i haven't seen any other adapter WITHOUT built-in control UI and without some sort of media manager. only some of the old ones remain (like the linksys WMA11B....anyone had experiences with this product?) - alan
